Some 8 plts. shaved / cropped at fore-edge / gutter with plt. nos. lost, 4 cropped at fore-edge just affecting image; plt. at I (i) verso repaired - no loss; lower gutter / fore-edge tears N12 and O1 (just avoid printing). Signatures: A-R12; S6. old ownership (Jane Brydges) head of title. First published in 1662, this is the first full year's use of the revised text. Griffiths 1663 (2) the series of plates were 'optional extras', and as such (as the author states) were not described in his bibliography. Annotations - old names of Anne Brydges and Charles Cartwright on the title.
